Backing Fabric

Primary Backing Cloth Fabric made specifically for Hand Tufting.

We supply this backing fabric to the trade and direct to the public. As it is extremely durable it is used by professional rug makers to make, for example, bespoke carpeting for hotels.

With equal warp and weft this makes the perfect punching backing. It is made of 100% polyester so is not affected by humidity changes whilst stretched on your frame.
