Robotic Tufting

Machines to mechanise the hand tufting technique using PLC controlled Servo Motors:-

– X Y movement
– Z move (in out of the tufting head)
– Rotation of the tufting head
– Sped control of the yarn delivery to vary the pile height.
– Control of the cutting mechanism to facilitate switching from cut pile to loop pile. Incorporating scissors to work in conjunction with loop pile.
– Yarn detection stop motion
